December Haiku
Life goes so fast now
There never seems to be enough days in December! I feel this every year and yet it always comes and goes at the same, steady pace. I drew this haiku comic to remind myself to prioritize what is most important to me during the busiest season.
I got to see my little brother over the Thanksgiving holiday, which was the best gift. He lives in California, so reunions are always a special occasion.
This is an early cartoon I drew of us when I was just starting my practice of drawing every morning before work.
This is cartooning habit changed the course my life and I continue to start everyday with pen and paper.
While so much in our lives (and the world) has changed since 2013, I’m grateful for my brother and that I’m still cartooning and drawing.
There’s never quite enough time, but we can choose how we spend it.

Thanks for reading and being here! Good luck with all the busy, as we close out another year. Hope your December is full of daily comforts.

I got to see my younger sister for the first time in almost a year over Thanksgiving, so I know how special those sibling reunions are! ❤️
