Welcome to the Relaunch of the CartoonConnie Comics Blog!

For long-time readers, I previously hosted this blog at conniewonnie.com. It’s got a new look, but rest-assured, my cartoon archive is all here. The new platform will allow me to share new artwork with you in many more formats. I’m also keeping it free to view and subscribe.

Watercolor and ink drawing of a cartoon girl with a red beanie in a subway car, writing in a notebook and surrounded by different animal species, including a penguin, capybara, zebra, tortoise, a seagull with headphones on, and a flamingo mom minding a flamingo chick with a backpack on. Original artwork by Connie Sun, cartoonconnie, 2024.

As some of you know, I’ve been working on an illustrated book and I’m excited to start sharing parts of that process here. I’ll also continue publishing my good, old-fashioned comic strips here because drawing them is my favorite thing.

Cartooning is not an easy path in life, but I owe it everything for being the creative outlet I need to be okay. Drawing comics is how I learned to be myself in the world. That’s why I stick with it through thick and thin. I’m grateful to see you here. Thanks as always for reading.
